Welcome!
Wow. I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping things updated. That's due in large part to limited internet access, although I won't deny a certain bit of laziness on my part. And a fair bit of burn-out as well. Since the first of the year, I've been busy working on wargaming terrain, mainly, although I did take a vacation to England in mid-March, and I've just gotten off another vacation where I did a fair bit of hiking (nearly 50 miles) and a fair bit of being lazy and a fair bit of working on other things that I haven't had much time to work on. All in all, a nice break. Fortunately, gas prices have slid back down a bit, making it a lot more possible to get out and hike. The 14er list really only mentions what peaks I've climbed, and leaves out the other stuff, such as the overnight backpack trip I did over Memorial Day weekend. I've had to work several Saturdays since July, and I've been working on gaming-related projects, such as some very large walls and a gatehouse for a megabattle that the Haven ran the weekend of August 14. I was able to get a couple more peaks this past weekend, which was nice. It was also nice to get out of city traffic and just be able to cruise. |
Recent Updates
August 30, 2004 Like the previous update, this one is rather minor. I've been updating my list of what peaks I've climbed so far this summer, so that's up to date at the moment, but that's about the only change. I'm also working on some changes to the site format. April 24, 2005 Yeah, it's been a very long time since there's been an update. Sue me. I've moved out of Colorado, and back to Michigan, where I miss the mountains horribly, and am working two part-time jobs. Fortunately, one of them is as an Art teacher, which I'm becoming more comfortable with. I'll try to remember to actually add a real update in the next week or two, but I'm not promising anything.

Hrothgar Hausakluif's Great Company
My Space Wolves army is the Fourth Great Company of the Space Wolves, under the command of Hrothgar Hausakluif, and uses the icon of the Fire Breather. Imperial archivists have been dispatched to Fenris to record the history and exploits of the Great Company. Their reports will be made available here as they are recieved. |

The Pierdan Light Infantry Regiments
I've written some background for an Imperial Guard Army I'd like to build at some point. Not that that's likely to happen any time in the near future, due to the painting backlog I've already got, but I can dream. The Pierdan Light are primarily an infantry force, specializing in scouting duties, and warzones where the use of heavy armor is nearly impossible. See the Codicium Imperialis page for the full write up.
